Unlike Vegemite, OZEMITE is not made from spent brewers yeast that has been through a brewery eight times. We have used purpose-grown yeast based on corn ensuring the quality and taste of OZEMITE is supreme.

Congratulations! I love the philosophy behind the whole Dick Smith Foods and even more I love the products, especially OzEmite. Well done and keep up the good work.
At our local Coles Supermarket recently, I saw that OzEmite was stocked in the shelves, so I bought a jar. Since purchasing this jar of OzEmite, I found that:
- It has a much nicer taste than Vegemite.
- It is easier to spread than Vegemite.
- Because of the better spreadability, it is probably a little more cost effective than Vegemite.
I wish I could find more of your products at our local supermarkets. I would definitely try them.
Our typical Sunday morning is breakfast in bed along with our two boxer dogs. Breakfast is toast with OzEmite and OzEnuts spreads. The dogs and us love it. The OzEmite doesn't leave me thirsty like the vegemite now does, and I agree OzEmite is more like we used to have when I was younger, in the 50’s. I also put a couple of teaspoons of the OzEmite in the dogs food when I cook it. As for the OzEnuts, can’t begin to describe the pleasant smooth taste that the peanut spread has - and not oily. Thank you Dick, for the betterment of these products - the other brands that are well known have become quite unpalatable.
Tried your OZEMITE for the first time today and will never buy vegemite again. Keep up the good work Dick (AUSSIE AUSSIE AUSSIE). No complaints here.

I just want to say a huge THANK YOU!!! I am on a gluten and dairy free diet and have been for the last 5 years. I have really missed Vegemite and had tried other substitutes but nothing came close, until I found OzEmite. I can't get enough. I went through one jar in a few days!! It was so good to be able to make my special toast taste great like it used to. I also really enjoy your tomato sauce. I used to have Promite in my pantry and hardly ever used it but since I have bought your OzEmite I am addicted to it. I have been telling everyone to forget Vegemite and try OzEmite. Your OzEnuts Crunchy Peanut Butter is lovely too as well as Raspberry Jam. I used to buy MON Tomato Sauce years ago but haven't seen it for a long time, so now that you have saved the company, I hope to see it back on the shelves again.
