Dick Smith's Strawberry with Vanilla Jam is a traditional style jam with a lusciously modern twist. This extraordinary jam will be sure to impress, with every mouthful containing perfectly ripened strawberries straight from the field near Port Macquarie on the NSW mid-north coast. This delectably sweet taste is enhanced with a subtle hint of vanilla bean. Dick Smith’s Fabulously Fluffy Scones
Ingredients
1 cup lemonade
1 cup cream
3 cups self-raising flour
1 egg
To Serve - Dick Smith's Strawberry with Vanilla Jam & Freshly whipped cream
Method
- Preheat oven to 220 degrees.
- Add lemonade and cream to flour, mix to form a soft dough and then place on a floured surface.
- Knead dough to 2cm thickness and cut with a floured cutter.
- Place close together on tray, brush with beaten egg and bake for 10-15 minutes.
- Serve warm with our traditional style Dick Smith's Strawberry with Vanilla Jam, and freshly whipped cream.
- Make sure you place the scones close together so that they can use each other to rise!
